God Loves…is a bold proclamation that God loves His creation. It is intentionally designed to capture people’s attention by using current events, social ills, and a little bit of shock. Each shirt will have a web address printed on the t-shirt as well on the sales tag. This web address will lead people to a video that lays out the simple Gospel message in a relevant and engaging way. We will be selling these shirts through local events, churches, and visiting Southern Exposure teams.
Why Bother?
New Orleans is a beautiful city filled with a rich mixture of cultures. It’s history is uniquely colorful and, at times, a bit sorted. Many people who’ve never visited New Orleans might see it as a broken or hopeless city or simply as a place to relish every possible vice.
The truth is that New Orleanians move to their own beat, and many have been disregarded, judged or condemned by churches and well-meaning “church” people. We believe it is important that our community sees from the beginning that The Center stands for the truth of Christ, His sacrifice and Victory over death. However, we also want them to know that we stand for them. We are here to serve and love the people of New Orleans and invite them to meet a loving God.
